Welcome Message from
President Maida Atkins

Welcome to the Venice Area Garden Club’s brand new website. One of our goals this year is to improve communications, and so we have been hard at work getting this site up and running.

V.A.G.C. was formed on January 30, 1957 with 25 members. Its mission was then and continues to be environmental, education and the beautification of our community. We now have 108 members designing and maintaining civic beautification projects throughout Venice. We are working with seniors and juniors with garden therapy, educating people about environmental issues, learning to create floral designs, organizing our 21st annual Home Tour and planning our Flower Show which for the first time will be combined with a Garden Festival.
