"Spring Market"
“Spring Market 2010” will be held Saturday, April 17, 2010, 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. in Woodmont Park. This park is centrally located with mature oak trees providing a shade canopy.

“Spring Market” was first held in 2004 and timed to coordinate with our City-wide Spring Clean Up. Residents were encouraged to clean up their yards, bring their tools to be sharpened and purchase new plants from the vendors.
This fund-raising event features vendors selling plants, yard art, flowers, fruits and vegetables, tool sharpening, etc. TTGC sells member -grown plants as well as hamburgers/hot dogs and baked goods. A flower show and mid-day speakers were added to the event in 2008. It’s a great opportunity for fun and fellowship while extending an invitation for others to join the TTGC.
All proceeds from this event are returned directly to Woodmont Park to pay for park maintenance (i.e. plants and mulch). The City of Temple Terrace owns this park but maintains the grass (mows) and trees only. This is the only park in the Temple Terrace that is maintained by a non-profit club or organization.
