Welcome Message from
President Christine Knight . . .
Welcome to our site and the Sweetwater Oaks Garden Club!
Who We Are
Our purpose is the education of the membership and the community relating to horticulture, conservation, environmental issues and artistic floral design.
What We Do
As an active, friendly club composed of all ages and gardening abilities, we are involved in many delightful and informative events:
• Annual Fundraisers: Card Party and Garden Fair
• Activities: Floral Exhibits, Field Trips, Plant Auctions, Horticulture Study Groups, Junior Gardeners, Floral Design Courses, Nature Studies and more
We Make A Difference
In our community we support the Wekiva Youth Camp, Habitat for Humanity, Hospice of the Comforter, Community Landscape Projects, and Horticulture Scholarships for College Students and scholarship students to attend the Wekiva Youth Camp.
Come grow with us!
Develop your gardening talents, create floral designs, learn horticulture techniques, discover new gardening interest, support conservation projects, share your gardening experiences, and make new friends.
Join Us For A Meeting
We meet the second Monday of every month at 9:30 A.M., September to May at the Sweetwater Oaks Community Club, 810 Fox Valley Drive, Longwood, 32779. Dues are $25.00. We do not discriminate as to age, gender, race or religion.
We’d love to have you “grow with us.”
Christine Knight
